Travel Website Gets Weblog
I've just finished adding a weblog to the Travel Hopefully Website
Weblogs are an excellent way to easily add new information to a website and have many benefits for the webmster and the website's visitors. The fact that a weblog makes it straight-forward for a webmaster to add new content to their website means that they are much more likely to add content on a regular basis. This not only gives the website's visitors good quality up to date information, but is also excellent from a search engine optimisation ( SEO) point of view. Search engines want to provide their users with links to relevant up to date information and they 'know' that regularly updated weblogs tend to contain such information. Because of this weblogs can gain high rankings with the SERPS
A weblog can also allow visitors to the website to interact with it by posting comments on any of the articles within the weblog. In addition weblogs are also integrated with RSS newsfeeds, providing yet another way for your audience to access the information on your website.
The Travel Hopefully Website was an ideal candidate for a weblog. The webmaster is a journalist and was previously updating his pages manually on a daily basis. The site is packed full of good quality travel information and now has a weblog, that looks the same as the rest of the site, to help it reap the benefits of quality content.
