Pixelwave selected by TPMW
I am pleased to report that Pixelwave Design has been accepted for inclusion on the selective tender list for the Tourism Partnership Mid Wales (TPMW). The TPMW aims to support tourism businesses in Mid Wales to develop their skills and make use of e-marketing and to effectively meet the changing demands of their customers.
To do this TPMW is undertaking a range of activities and training opportunities. These include developing appropriate websites which meet specific needs but can also take advantage of best practice in optimisation, accessibility and design.
As part of the selection process the sites within a prospective designers portfolio were assessed for good practice using consistent online tests and/or measurable criteria. These included accessibility, Search Engine Optimisation, navigation and technical specifications. The analysis was undertaken by a specialist company with noted expertise in website analysis and meeting the current requirements for optimising accessibility and search mechanisms.
The result of the analysis on sites by Pixelwave Design was that they met all the criteria so I am pleased to have been included on the selective tender list and hope to be working on some tourism related projects in the near future.
