Amazon Affiliate Web Store
I am currently in the process of modifying a script in order to build an Amazon Web Store. The idea behind the script is that it automatically adds pages to your website based on products within the Amazon products database. It accesses the Amazon database so product information and prices are kept up to date and embeds the information into your own website. Once a customer has found the product they are looking for they are then able to pruchase it online from Amazon.
I am still in the testing phases with this script, but it is up and working and can be seen on my personal Forces-of-Nature website.
Eventually the intention is to offer such functionality to my web-design clients. Adding a dynamic Amazon web store such as this to a website can have many benefits
- It provides a useful service for visitors to your website.
- You can generate income from commission on the sales.
- The addition of thousands of extra, relevant and frequently updated pages to your site can benefit the ranking of your site within the SERPS.
- It should be possible to use such a store to generate Inbound Links which will also improve your search engine rankings.
Each store will obviously be individually tailored to fit in with the aesthtics and layout of a particular clients website and the categories of products displayed within the store tailored to be as releant as possible to the websites content.
