Summertime Websites
What a gorgeous Bank Holiday weekend we have just had. Wall to wall sunshine, not too hot and even plenty of wind for me to go windsurfing on Saturday... I love it when a plan comes together.
It hasn't been all rest and relaxation for me though as I have been working on several websites over the weekend. My virtual freebie for the Borth Rowing Club has gone live. They had an open day on the beach here this weekend and also have a new website to show off. I built the site quickly for them based on a layout I had already been working on. As they are a local community project I didn't charge them, just made sure they covered the costs of web-hosting and domain name registration. I hope their new website brings in more members and keeps the existing members up to date.
As well as working on a few eCommerce websites I also made a few little amendments to some other clients sites and spent a few hours promoting a website and then enjoyed the Bank Holiday sunshine. Back to work properly today and the sun has gone so theres less temptation to have 'just one more day off"!
Todays task I think will be the continuation of the website for the Sci-Fi and Fantasy Author Jon Aristides. So far I'm really pleased with the site I have built and can't wait to get it live. It shouldn't be too long now.
