The Great Outdoors
Although I thoroughly enjoy my work as a freelance website developer it is always nice to get a bit of time away from my computer and spend some time in the Great Outdoors. However, I'm just about to start on another new project so my leisure time will be slightly reduced. The upside of course is that I should at least be able to pay the bills.
The project is for an Aberystwyth based outdoor and climbing shop, so at least I'll be working with a subject matter close to my heart. Who knows, just to get in the mood I might even take my laptop into the garden and make the most of my wireless broadband connection. Escape Outdoors as the shop is called is an exciting outdoor pursuits shop offering experienced staff and a wide range of products. It's owners believe passionately that every customer should be offered accurate, up-to-date advice, about quality products in a friendly, exciting atmosphere.
Over the coming weeks I shall be adding a full eCommerce solution to their site allowing customers to make online purchases. The eCommerce section will be integrated with their existing site which will also be tweaked a little bit here and there and updated ready for the new release.
As always it is encouraging to gain new clients and I am looking forward to working on the project.
