Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) Training
I am just about to start teaching a new client based in Australia the art of Search Engine Optimisation. He is a webmaster of several websites including a comprehensive website containing Worldwide Travel Information and a Guide to Video and Camcorders. He has approached me after reading one of my articles and would like his websites to gain better search engine rankings. As well as carrying out some of the search engine optimisation for him I shall also be documenting my techniques and explaining what I do and why I do it so that he can optimise his own web pages in the future.
His training will start with a description of how search engines work. I'll then analyse his existing web pages and instruct him how to optimise them so that search engines can efficiently and effectively catalogue them. The art of choosing the most appropriate and best performing keywords will be covered as will the various elements of the HTML that should be present to help search engines catalogue the page content. Various topics relating to the authoring and organisation of the web pages will be discussed, before the training moves on to the topic of website promotion.
I'm looking forward to the project and fully expect his websites to benefit from the SEO.
