Another Website Goes Live
I've been busy this week and yet another of my website projects has just gone live. The University of Wales, Aberystwyth Estates Office website designed and produced by Pixelwave Design is now up and running.
Estates' Office is a major services provider to the university. Essentially it provides buildings, facilities and services in support of the university's teaching and research activity. It is also responsible for the maintenance and future development of the Estate with a view to achieving an environment for Students and Staff to advance and create new opportunities for learning and sharing of best practice.
As part of the Universities website I was obliged to ensure that the Estates Office site conformed both with the universities web guidelines as well accessibility and conformance guidelines recommended by the World Wide Web Consortium and the Web Accessibility Initiative. The website was also required to be easy to use with a corporate feel. So far, feedback has been positive.
