Playing in the Google Sandbox
I've been thinking about the Google Sandbox effect recently. Mainly because this website is so new and has therefore been placed in the sandbox.
Instead of thinking of it as a frustrating inevitability and trying to get out of the sandbox and into the main SERPS as quickly as possible I've been tracking the sites progress and traffic stats closely. I'm now beginning to think of the Sandbox effect as a golden opportunity to really make the most of your website in the eyes of Google. I'll write a full article on this topic soon, but for now have just produced a page Explaining the Google Sandbox effect.

It's a strange world isn't it? One day after writing this article and this site makes it out of the Google Sandbox. Not bad going really as it only spent about 4 weeks in there. The ranking of this sites pages within Google Search Engine Results Pages is still obviously pretty poor, but I expect to see this improving over the coming weeks.
The keywords I am aiming for good rankings with are high competition keywords, but so far my success in other sesrch engines has been amazing.
I am of course continuing to promote the site and continuing to tweak the Search Engine Optimisation. However, as always in the world of website promotion, 'Content is King' so my main intention is to continue adding new articles and weblog entries such as this one. After all, relevant content is what the search engines want to see.
