New Article: Choosing your Keywords
Many of my clients are new to the world of website design so I am continuing to add new articles to this site that will explain some of the fundamental concepts required to make their websites a success.
One of the first things I ask from my clients is a list of keywords / phrases that relate to the content of their proposed web pages. These keywords are essential to the entire design process as I use them to optimise websites so that they will rank well in Search Engine Results Pages (SERPS) and therefore bring more visitors to their website.
Choosing the best keywords is not simply a matter of picking those words that relate most to the business / organisation from the webmasters point of view. The art is to choose those words that prospective customers will use when looking for the products or services that the website offers.
