Pixelwave GAWDS Membership accepted
I have been accepted as a member of the GAWDS.
GAWDS is a world-wide association of organisations and accessible web designers and developers - designed to both promote and protect standards - not technical standards - but accessible design standards.
"Promoting a vision of the future that assumes accessible web design to be, relevant, obtainable, and not at odds with successful business practice or good visual and usable design."
As an advocate of accessible websites I am proud of my association with GAWDS and commend their vision. I hope to contribute to the development of GAWDS and look forward to sharing ideas with the other members. I also hope to learn about new accessibility issues from other GAWDS members and pass those on to Pixelwave Design clients.
